Using lube is not perpetuating rape culture. During realistic sex, the woman may lose some of her moisture. Lube allows you to have pleasurable sex without worrying about dryness. I read this article because I thought there was some new information about the (medical) dangers of using lube. I dint know its just one article designed to complicate our lives.

I know the article excludes women who experience dryness. But how many women over thirty, who have breastfed or are breastfeeding, or using contraceptive drugs, pre menopausal, do not get dry or experience dryness no matter the arousal?

After I had my first baby, sometimes I ll be the one to initiate sex and lots of foreplay but no wetness…lube restored my sanity.
