I could never homeschool. But I admire women who can do it. Its takes strength of character to take on such a daunting responsibility. In the country I live in, she would be a happy stay at home mum because it’s easy to access help from family and affordable home assistance services (maids). But I know a few women who still refuse all the available free or cheap help because they want to do it themselves. Some give up along the way, others sacrifice everything from their looks (yes that, cos they look tired all the time, to friendships with other women( I stopped calling a friend cos she only wanted to talk about diaper brands), to opportunities.

Everything takes the back burner when they become mothers. But I think its not a bad thing. Dont start resenting her for it.

You may need to use the services of a marriage counsellor to talk about your differences and agree on what will make you both happy in the marriage. Best of luck.
